Salt on Kings

Nous avons roulé à l'ombre des Glass House Mountains jusqu'à atteindre Caloundra sur la Sunshine Coast (au Nord de Brisbane), où nous avons été très gentiment conviés pour deux nuits (merci Brenda) ! C'est une jolie ville à l'ambiance très "vacancière", agréablement tranquille en ce début d'automne.

Les enfants ont pu s'amuser sur une plage magnifique au niveau de Currimundi Lake (idéale car bien protégée), pendant que nous dégustions notre pique-nique. Et ensuite direction Kings Beach pour une petite balade à la lueur du soleil couchant. En parlant du soleil, il est vraiment très agressif en Australie, et même avec une bonne couche d'écran total, ça brûle !

We’ve driven under the shade of the Glass House Mountains up to Caloundra (North of Brisbane, on the Sunshine Coast). We’ve kindly been invited here for 2 nights (thanks to Brenda)! It’s nice a lovely, perfect for holidays, quite calm in this beginning of autumn.

The kids have had a lot fun at the beach around Currimundi Lake (ideal because well protected), while we were enjoying a picnic. Then we’ve walked along the boardwalk near Kings Beach as the sun was setting. Speaking of the sun, in Australia, it’s really harsh and burning, even with sunscreen!
